We’ve completely rebuilt the automatic invoice reading processor (OCR) that we use when uploading documents from Facilities. The new engine reads with greater accuracy, covers more types of invoices, and now tells you how confident it is in each extracted data point.
What improves with the new OCR
- Greater accuracy and coverage: the new processor correctly reads a much wider range of invoices, including formats that used to cause issues.
- Field-by-field confidence indicator: for each data point read (quantity, unit, supplier, date, etc.), you’ll see the confidence level with which it was extracted, so you can tell at a glance what needs reviewing.
- Available in more categories: in addition to combustion, electricity, and water, it now also works for refills, where you can finally upload your PDFs.
- Your PDFs, always accessible: everything you upload is saved in “My files,” and the original PDF is automatically attached as evidence in each invoice, ready for audits and verifications.
