What EcoVadis is
EcoVadis is the most widespread sustainability assessment in supply chains: more than 130,000 companies use it to demonstrate their ESG performance to customers, banks and investors. It analyzes four themes (Environment, Labor and human rights, Ethics and Sustainable procurement) and returns a score from 0 to 100 and, where applicable, a medal.
The most common confusion: EcoVadis is not a certification. It is a rating based on document assessment. Medals do not depend on a fixed score, but on your position relative to the rest of the companies assessed. That is why the score ranges are indicative and change every year.
