Until now, in Dcycle you could only create LCAs with a single final product. But we know that’s not how many processes actually work: a single process can yield several products at once.
➡️ That’s why the LCA module is now multi-product. If a single process yields N final products, you can now reflect them all in your LCA.
➡️** And you can save each of those final products as a part to reuse it in other LCAs**, without having to start from scratch every time.
➡️ Environmental data matters, but we know economic data does too. That’s why you can now associate the economic value of each co-product and allocate impacts based on it. Allocation is available in several forms: economic, by mass, by energy, or by custom percentage, so you can choose the criterion that best fits your analysis.
You can add final products when creating a new LCA or from the canvas of one you’ve already created, so it works both for new LCAs and for the ones you’ve already been working on.
