Introducing automatic import of technical sheets inside the PPWR module. Now, when you upload a supplier’s technical sheet, Dcycle reads the document, identifies the packaging components, and proposes a packaging unit ready for you to review. No more retyping data from a PDF by hand.

- Recognizes whether the packaging already exists in your catalog, by EAN code or by name, and suggests updating it instead of creating a duplicate
- Keeps every component even when the sheet has no per-piece weight, so you never lose information along the way
How it works
When you upload a technical sheet to your packaging project, the system processes the file and generates a unit suggestion. From the review screen you can check and adjust the extracted data before confirming anything. If the sheet matches a packaging unit you already have, Dcycle detects it and offers to update the existing unit; if it’s new, it creates one from scratch. You always have the final say: nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Why it matters
Registering packaging by hand is slow and error prone, especially when you manage dozens of references to comply with the PPWR regulation. Automatic import cuts data entry time, avoids duplicates, and gives you a more reliable basis for your recyclability and compliance calculations.
