New emission factor database: HuellaChile

You can now calculate your carbon footprint using HuellaChile emission factors, the official program run by Chile’s Ministry of the Environment. We’ve added both the 2024 and 2025 versions, so you can apply the one that matches each period.

This database applies to Scope 1 and 2: vehicle, electricity, and combustion consumption.

How to use it:

  1. Go to the emission factors screen and open the relevant category (vehicles, electricity, or combustion).
  2. Select the period (year) and the vehicles or consumption items you want the new factors to apply to.
  3. Click Save. That’s it: the selected consumption data will be automatically recalculated using HuellaChile factors.
