Ever wanted to see your emissions per euro of revenue, per employee, or per tonne handled, without leaving your pivot table? Now you can.
We have added Intensity Metrics to pivot tables: choose any emissions metric as the numerator, select an intensity group (revenue, FTEs, production volume…), and get an automatically calculated normalized ratio in every row and column.
How it works
- Open any pivot table (Carbon Footprint, Waste, or Energy)
- Click Add intensity metric in the measures panel
- Choose your numerator metric (e.g. kg CO2 eq, waste quantity, or energy consumed) and the activity data to build the intensity metric
- If you don’t have data yet, go to Data > Customize > Intensity metrics and create groups and add data
- The table instantly displays the combined ratio with a clear unit label (e.g. kgCO2e / EUR) Why it matters
- Measure your company’s efficiency — if your company grows, emissions usually grow too, but are the sustainability team’s efforts paying off? Now you can measure it

- Missing data? No problem — cells without intensity values are clearly flagged with a link to add the data Works with monthly, quarterly, and annual granularity, including fiscal year support.
Tip: add monthly values from the first to the last day of the month with your activity data to get the most out of it.
