Q4: taking the power of the ESG, Chewbacca-Style

Wow. What a quarter. So much has happened. I EVEN DID THE CHEWBACCA ROAR IN FRONT OF OVER 1,000 PEOPLE (what?!).

It’s incredible to stop for a moment amidst this frenetic pace, look back, and see everything we’ve accomplished in just three months. When I say “we,” I include the Dcycle team and also you: client, supplier, partner, investor, friend, and everyone who listens to us daily and helps us provide better solutions.

Welcome to this incredible summary of what happened in Q4 2024! Let’s go!

New products

CSRD

We’ve doubled down on every level: double materiality, GAP analysis, data points, PAMT, pim and pum. Dcycle has become more collaborative, complete, and flexible to respond to this regulatory earthquake. Of course, this challenge isn’t solved with technology alone; it also requires human support. That’s why, along with extraordinary product advances, we’ve added key figures to our Customer Success team, like Ana Mateu and María Armada, among others.

As our clients say:
"Great challenges lie ahead, but together… Who’s afraid of the CSRD? 😉"

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

We’ve launched one of the products that excites us the most (and we know many of you feel the same way 😉). LCA is arguably the most complex analysis in the world of sustainability. Just understanding the methodology requires two years of study and 2,000 liters of coffee. Let’s not even talk about the data, calculations, and reports!

To fulfill our mission of giving you control over sustainability, we’ve completely reinvented LCAs, solving issues no tool has managed to resolve until now:

✅ A product based on company data structures, not academic textbooks.
✅ A design so simple anyone can perform LCAs, even without knowing what those three letters mean.
✅ Automations that will blow your mind: calculate impacts across portfolios of thousands of products in an instant.
✅ A collaborative environment powered by the Cloud (yes, that thing everyone mentions but no one really understands… as long as it works, who cares?).

Integrations

We’ve heard you loud and clear! You want more integration capabilities. That’s why we’ve released 10+ new APIs along with incredible documentation. And this is just the beginning—there’s much more to come in 2025.

What would you like us to bring you this year?

I could go on about milestones like our SFC accreditation or the incredible partnership with AWS, but I think that’s enough for now.

2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for the 1,500+ organizations working with us. We have more energy and enthusiasm than ever. Oh, and funding!

It’s time to celebrate and dream about the future—like the night before Christmas or the Three Kings’ Day. 🤩

We may not have flying reindeer yet (for now) or be magicians, but we love bringing joy to every sustainability team.

So, what would you like us to bring you this year? 🎁

Happy Christmas and a happy new year!
